This article presents a business process model for the IT Management that can be used in medium and large organizations as a framework for modelling and analysing their IT management processes. This process is responsible for the operational management of the IT infrastructure as defined by the Technology Architecture. This determines each configuration item of the baseline of the product, its version, and the revisions according to the baseline.
Its main product is the Quality Plan. Based on the results of model validation, it would be possible to define refinements on some of the sub-processes and their activities, as an adaptation in response to the organization needs and contexts of use.
