Peril-ridden and fragile, the imperfect human body, what a shameful thing it was! He had been day-dreaming of a trip to Africa; maybe even a new life in Africa.

This is my first book by Kenzaburo Oe and I am not sure if this is the best book to make an opinion about his writing.
